Jesuit Monastery

The Jesuit Monastery, established in 1020, is one the oldest nunneries in the country where Queen Gizella, as the legend goes, worked together with the nuns on the crown cloak embroidery. This uniquely inspiring sacral space serves as a site for one of Veszprémfest’s accompanying events. The building can accommodate 120 people at a time and hosts programs of different musical themes for visitors as of 2011 summer.
